Agentive, an innovative technology company, faced challenges in effectively communicating their brand identity and value proposition. Despite having established visual elements, their brand lacked a strategic foundation, clarity, and consistency. This made it difficult to articulate their unique value proposition, product features, and build a strong brand image that supported their innovative tech product aimed at revolutionising global supply chains.

Solution delivered by our Consultant: A Strategic Approach

We were initially engaged by Agentive to provide specific services related to content marketing and communication: developing documents, business presentations, and content.

However, as we continued with the project, the lack of a strategic direction for their brand was hindering their efforts. This was manifested in several ways:

  • Inconsistent Messaging: Agentive's communication materials lacked a unified voice and message, leading to confusion among their target audience and internally.
  • Misaligned Goals: Without a clear brand strategy, vision, mission and goals it was difficult to align communication efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Poor visuals and unclear design: A weak brand identity made it challenging to make Agentive stand out in a competitive market.

Recognising these underlying issues, our consultant shifted focus to address the strategic foundation.

This involved:

Conducting a Brand Audit

Analysing the existing brand identity, messaging, and target audience to identify areas for improvement.

Developing a Brand Strategy

Creating a comprehensive plan outlining the brand's vision, mission, values, and positioning.

Unifying Brand Elements

Ensuring consistency and alignment between the brand identity, messaging, and visual elements.

Unifying Vision, Mission, and Brand Substance

A strong brand is built on a foundation of shared values and a unified vision. Agentive, like many organizations, faced challenges in aligning their leadership team around these essential elements.

To address this, we conducted individual and group brand exploration sessions with Agentive leaders. These sessions helped uncover individual's perspectives on the brand, identify similarities and differences and facilitate open discussion. The ultimate goal was to unify their vision, mission, and brand substance.

By engaging in these sessions, we were able to:


  • Identify Common Ground: Discover shared values and aspirations that could serve as the foundation for a unified brand.
  • Address Differences: Resolve conflicts and misunderstandings to create a more cohesive vision.
  • Build Consensus: Foster a sense of agreement and shared ownership among the leadership team.


Armed with a unified understanding of the brand, we developed a comprehensive brand strategy. This strategy provided a clear direction for Agentive's brand and ensured that all marketing and communication efforts were aligned.

Clarifying Agentive Identity

Once the brand's foundation was established, we focused on clarifying the brand identity. This involved refining the brand's messaging, enhancing the visual elements, and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. A clear and consistent brand identity is essential for effective communication and building brand recognition.

Visual Elements: We evaluated the brand's visual elements, including the logo, colour palette, and typography. We made necessary adjustments to ensure that these elements were consistent, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand's personality.

Brand Consistency: We worked to ensure that the brand identity was consistent across all touchpoints, from the website design to marketing materials and stakeholder and customer interactions. This created a cohesive brand experience and strengthened brand image and recognition.

Articulating Value Proposition

We worked with Agentive leaders to articulate the company's unique value proposition. By clearly defining what sets Agentive apart and articulating specific benefits for target audience segments, we were able to develop compelling messaging that resonated with them.

  • Identification of Key Benefits: We pinpointed the specific advantages that Agentive's products offer to customers.
  • Tailored Messaging: We developed messaging that highlights the benefits most relevant to different target audience segments.
  • Quantified Value: Whenever possible, we quantified the benefits to demonstrate the tangible value that Agentive provides.
  • Use of Clear and Concise Language: We ensured that the value proposition is easy to understand and remember.

Developing Compelling Content

With a strong brand strategy, clear brand identity, and articulated value proposition in place, we developed engaging content to support the brand. This included website copy, infographics, business presentations, and white papers. The content was carefully crafted to align with the brand's messaging and resonate with the target audience.

Infographics: To visually represent complex data and information, we created visually appealing infographics that were easy to understand and share. These infographics helped to simplify technical concepts and make Agentive's offerings more accessible to their target audience.

Presentations: We developed a range of presentations for various purposes, including internal training, external pitches, and business proposals. These presentations were designed to be informative, engaging, and visually appealing, effectively conveying Agentive's message to different audiences.

Promotional Video: To further enhance Agentive's brand presence and engage with their target audience, we also produced a promotional video. The video effectively communicated Agentive's value proposition, showcasing their innovative technology, and highlighting the benefits of their product.

Throughout the content development process, we ensured that all materials aligned with Agentive's brand messaging and resonated with their target audience.
